Me

The oak is defined,

not merely by shade

but branches that brush against skin.

The sky reveals cloud,

not merely by grey

but thunder resounds below feet.

The brook presents fish,

not merely through tide,

but dinner that rests on my plate.

And I show fragility,

not merely through words,

but intimate physicality.
